Quick lock

By the Silock TeamUpdated

The short answer

If someone walks up while Silock is open, shake your iPhone or turn it face down. Silock locks immediately, and it locks on its own whenever you leave the app.

The riskiest moment for anything private is when it’s open on screen. Quick lock gives you a fast way out.

Two ways to lock

  • Shake your iPhone.
  • Turn it face down on a table for a moment.

Either one locks Silock straight away. The next person to pick it up sees the unlock screen, which shows nothing about your silos.

Silock also locks itself

  • When you leave the app.
  • When your iPhone locks.
  • In the app switcher, Silock shows a cover instead of what was on screen.

When Silock locks, the keys it was using are wiped from memory, along with every photo and preview it had open.

Questions people ask

Does quick lock need any permission?

No. It uses your iPhone's motion sensor, which needs no permission, and only while Silock is open and unlocked.

Can I turn it off?

Yes, in Silock's Settings.
